For all the group's manic energy, the playing is sharp and muscular, Dave Vanian's vocals are powerful enough to make his histrionics work, Rat Scabies' drumming holds the band tight, Captain Sensible's bass provides a solid foundation for the melodies and Brian James' guitar wails with primitive force.

The Damned are an English rock band formed in London in 1976. They are notable for being the first punk rock band from England to release a single ("New Rose"), an album (Damned Damned Damned), and to tour the United States. The Damned later evolved into one of the forerunners of the gothic rock genre.
They have incorporated numerous styles into their music and image, including: garage rock, psychedelic rock, cabaret, and the theatrical rock of Screaming Lord Sutch and Alex Harvey. Lead singer Dave Vanian's vocal style has been described as similar to a crooner. The Damned have dissolved and reformed many times, with Vanian as the sole constant member, however, the lineups have always included either guitarist Captain Sensible and/or drummer Rat Scabies, who are both founding members. The current line-up includes Vanian, Captain Sensible, Monty Oxy Moron, Pinch and Stu West.

All songs written by The Damned except "9" by MC5 & "19" by Chinn & Chapman. Produced by Roger Armstrong & The Damned except * by Ed Hollis. Recorded at Utopia Studios, Chalk Farm Studios, Sound-Suite Recording, Workhouse Studios and SGS Recording Studios (London, March - May 1979) & Sound-Suite Recording, Workhouse Studios and Wessex Studios (London, July - August 1979). 

Rejoining forces without James, who pursued his own interests from then on (only hooking up with the band again for a late-'80s "farewell" show), the remaining three brought in young Saints veteran Alastair Ward on bass, recorded an album, and hoped for the best. That best proved much better than expected; while singles ended up on the charts, Machine Gun Etiquette... More itself was deservedly hailed as another classic from the band. Over time, its reputation has grown to equal the original Damned Damned Damned; while no less strong than that record, the Damned here bring in a wide variety of touches and influences to create a record that most of their contemporaries could never have approached. The group's wicked way around witty punk hadn't ebbed a bit; the opening cut, "Love Song," is a hilarious trashing of romantic clichés (sample lyric: "I'll be the rubbish, you'll be the bin!") that barely lasts two minutes, while "Noise, Noise, Noise" and "Liar" work in the same general vein. These, however, only scratch the surface. "Melody Lee," written by the Captain for a favorite comic character, starts with a lovely piano intro, whereas the celebratory angst of "I Just Can't Be Happy Today" chugs along with garagey élan and keyboards à la the Electric Prunes. Other prime standouts include "Plan 9 Channel 7," a Grand Guignol of an epic about James Dean and Vampira with a fantastic Vanian vocal; the merry mayhem of "These Hands"

Eyaculación Post Mortem nace en Sabadell con la idea inicial de J.Oscura Nájera de crear un proyecto musical after punk…después de diferentes intentos, aliens y bandas, crean “La Oscura hermandad”; un grupo de gentes dedicadas a la música, el cine, y al arte en general visto de una perspectiva naturalmente terrorífica, amantes del cine expresionista es de ahí de donde nace “Eyaculación Post Mortem”…bajo, secuencias, teclados y guitarra son tan solo la parte de arriba de una base electro. Mejor dicho; elektro.

Una banda que crea para bailar, para mover el esqueleto, donde es imposible mantenerte sereno…Techno, EBM, Elektroskuro! After Punk!!!…Guitarras que abarcan desde metal, hasta el down más tremendo. Eyaculación Post-Mortem se describe como un cambio de estado mental a estado magnético sobre pensamientos efímeros víctimas también de ésta transformación de elementos.

Nace en Barcelona como organización con fines maléficos y paranormales recopilando sonidos y malas ideas, pero no es hasta el año 2001 que se decide juntar todo ello por primera vez en un disco llamado “La Oscura Hermandad” que sería editado a principios del 2002 por “La Oscura Ceremonia”, cofradía a la que pertenece la banda desde sus inicios.

Enseguida comienzan los primeros conciertos y hacen falta diferentes manos para llevarlos a cabo, por lo que diferentes miembros de la Oscura Hermandad van dando diferentes formas a los sucesivos directos, hasta que a principios del año 2003 deciden grabar su segundo tratado: “De los Muertos y su Costumbres”, disco que sería re-editado en el 2005 en una sucia versión Navideña con una ouija como regalo para celebrar las fiestas.

A principios de ese mismo año 2005 se editó el tercer album de EPM ahora con mas mala intención, su titulo fue “El Analizador de Espectros”, y dejó reflejar raices e influencias que no habian quedado reflejadas en los anteriores trabajos.

En directo la banda comparte escenario durante todo este tiempo con bandas como Das Ich, Melotrón, Clan of Ximox, Sex Gang Children, Unheilig, In my Rosary, Monster Zoku Onsomb...

En el 2007 sale su cuarto album “Temblad Temblad Malditos”, producido por J.Oskura Nájera como los anteriores trabajos, y actualmente escenifican el directo el própio J.Oskura (cien veces bendito) al Theremín y los teclados, Speed Limone (Delincuente y Eyaculador) a la guitarra, Dark Punk (Violento e historiador) al bajo y Guacho (Máquina Eyaculadora) a la batería.

The Bad Whoremoans were formed after Paul of the Living Dead decided to do something after his former band, The Pumpkin Patch folded. He recruited 'Grave' Rob Benny, J.T. Scuggs, 'Serial' Bill Gotta, and Ginny Tonic to make noise.

They released their self-titled first album around Halloween 2008. Their follow up is currently being written. 

The Bad Whoremoans have risen from the ashes of NJ horror punk outfit the Pumpkin Patch. After playing successfully for a year, the Pumpkin Patch are disbanded until further notice.

Currently the Bad Whoremoans approximately 51% done with their debut album featuring re-recorded songs from the Pumpkin Patch and newer material.

Hoy os acerco la última producción de una, relativamente, joven banda de la geografía española, concretamente de la comunidad murciana, se trata de Sudores de Muerte, y ellos mismos me mandan su material para que lo ponga a vuestra disposición.
Debo decir que me ha sorprendido gratamente y aquell@s que disfrutais con bandas tipo Paralisis Permanente sin duda no saldreis decepcionad@s, sonidos similares a estos, aderezados con tonos surferos en algunos casos, un poco mas metalicos en otros, a veces mas punks.... pero sobre todo oscuridad, mucha oscuridad... en fín, una delicia de banda

DATOS NECROGRÁFICOS

2005, Murcia, España.
Pompas Fúnebres y Catalepsia, cansadas y aburridas de la gran eclosión de grupos indie-pop, deciden crear Sudores de Muerte. Poco tiempo después se une a la banda Desenterrador, al que conocieron en los (casi inexistentes) ambientes “muerte-roqueros” de la ciudad. Fue entonces cuando empezaron los ensayos en Central Esclavo (cuartel general y estudio de grabación)

Pronto grabaron su primer single, “UN CADAVER EN LA BAÑERA” (diciembre, 2006), que fue editado por La Culpa Records (Madrid) y reeditado después por Zombito Records, la discográfica underground de Pompas Fúnebres y Desenterrador (www.zombitorecords.tk)
Le siguió su segundo single, “AFEITA AL PERRO” (julio, 2007). Acto seguido, Sudores de Muerte empezaron a tocar en Murcia y alrededores con otros grupos locales, y también en Madrid (Ladyfest Spain) donde telonearon a Lydia Lunch y Jessie Evans.
Ahora acaban de lanzar su tercer disco, “LUZ DE GAS”, en el que siguen desarrollando su particular sonido (lo que ellos han definido como necromugre): una mezcla de garage, afterpunk y sonidos retro en general, aunque sus influencias son de lo más variopinto (rock and roll, country, glam, psicodelia, new wave, punk o incluso black metal).

Damned's epochal 1976 debut album Damned Damned Damned, one of the masterstroke releases of the first wave of British punk which still sounds fresh, exciting and brilliantly snotty three decades after it was released. But if you love Damned Damned Damned, well, this remastered and lavishly expanded edition will bring a broken-toothed grin to your face in no time flat. This three-disc set (yes, three discs!) opens with the original album, which seems to have hardly dated a bit.
Disc two serves up 26 demos, B-sides, non-LP single tracks and radio recordings, which equals nearly everything the band recorded during their first year of operations.
And Disc three features a lo-fi recording of one of the Damned's first public gigs, a set recorded in London during the 100 Club's first Punk Rock Festival in the summer of 1977

Ya hace medio año os traje por aquí a Cromosoma 3, en esta ocasión son ellos los que se acercan para dejarnos un par de canciones

Cromosoma 3 se formó en Barcelona en el año 2002 , influenciados por grupos como Damned , B52 , Bauhaus , Cramps , Meteors , Man or astroman y por películas de terror de serie B , grandes clásicos de la Universal, Hammer ,etc, Después de 4 meses de ensayo se grabó una canción llamada El retrato (surf oscuro entre Cramps y Meteors) al mes el bateria (Carlo) dejo la banda; sustituyéndolo por (Marcel) grabaron 2 canciones nuevas ,una llamada Living in trash (entre Ghoultown ,Damned y Misfits) y otra Nuestro amor (un homenaje al after punk iberico tipo Parálisis Permanente y Desechables) las colgaron en internet y empezaron a tocar por todo el estado... Imaginaros, un grupo formado por un guitarrista(Pau) con una mascara de la mosca (de la película interpretada por el maravilloso Vicent Price) ,el bajista (Marc) pintado como el payaso de IT ,el bateria (Marcel) vestido de monje y el cantante (Gerardo) disfrazado de vampiro ; hacian versiones de Smiths , Misfits , Trashmen , Sonics , etc ... Después de algunos conciertos, les ofrecieron grabar una versión de Misfits para un tributo, la canción era Return of the fly que salió en formato 10 ,automáticamente se metieron en un estudio y grabaron 11 temas de los cuales solo se salvaron 2 ,ya que por un error del estudio , se borraron los temas restantes , por causas personales el cantante se tuvo que ir a su ciudad natal (Alicante) con la lógica disolución del grupo ,ya que como bien se sabe es difícil mantener un grupo con unas distancias tan grandes, como recuerdo se editó un e.p. compartido Tango luger/Cromosoma 3 ,la primera banda era un proyecto que hizo el guitarra de Morticia, 2 temas rescatados del 85 tipo Suicide , Meteors , etc... y en la otra cara 3 temas de Cromosoma 3 el primero Alligátor jungle( surf siniestro con nueva ola ),Nuestro amor y El retrato. Con el tiempo, pensaron en hacer una reunión para presentar el E.P. , grabar las canciones que se perdieron ,etc...;pero las circunstancias eran las de siempre (las distancias) entonces el cantante consiguió otra formación en Alicante recuperando todas las canciones y componiendo mas temas . Esta nueva formación estuvo compuesta por Pedro a la batería , Juan Busquier a la guitarra ,Yolanda al órgano , el Espectro al bajo y Gerardo a la voz . Despues de presentar el susodicho E.P. y salir en un cuantos recopilatorios , grabaron con la “Oscura Ceremonia” unos cuantos temas, de esta grabación salio como fruto el tema “Mentes Enfermas” del cual se hizo un videoclip , producido por “A Grito Pelao” y realizado por la “Oscura Ceremonia”;gracias a este videoclip la banda se dio a conocer un poco mas mediante Internet ;la productora “A Grito Pelao “ quiso arriesgar un poco mas y les produjo la grabación de unos 8 temas en el estudio de Gerona “Producciones Macarras” , de esa grabacion ,un sello ingles llamado Dead By Mono Records y el sello alicantino Pakistan r’n’r Crussade han editado recientemente lo que es su segundo E.P. que lleva por titulo “Mentes Enfermas” ..,asi que ya sabeis estos 5 dementes posiblemente aterricen en tu ciudad para presentar este nuevo E.P. cargado de rock and roll ,horror, oscuridad y terror sicologico……

It’s dark, it’s barren, but yet, it’s completely inviting.

Emphasizing layers of percussion and Siouxsie Sue’s throaty vocals, the Creatures build on the sound created on previous albums. Though the band’s reliance upon percussion leaves the majority of the tracks with a stripped-down, near minimalist feel, Anima Animus is anything but thin. With murky electronic melodies creeping behind the band’s heavy beats paired with Siouxsie’s distinctive siren call, the Creatures conjure up a musical landscape both intricate and enveloping and starkly chilling at the same time.

Fans of the Creature’s primal rhythms will find much to latch onto with this album, with the heavy rolling beats of previous albums finding a home on Anima Animus, from the layers of tom-tom beats, sharp snare blasts and steels on "Disconnected" to the relentless tribal rhythms of "Turn It On" to the haunting backbeat of "Prettiest Thing." Masterfully arranged to provide both rhythm and lead on the majority of tracks Budgie’s drums play as much of a role in creating the Creature’s sound as Siouxsie’s distinct voice.

Though not as prominent as the heavy percussion on this album, the Creatures also bring other elements into their music. Expanding the band’s sound, electronic sounds take center stage on a couple tracks, "2^nd Floor" and "Exterminating Angel," giving the band’s sound a new direction. Matching the band’s tone and songwriting, the Creatures’ use of electronic elements hints at a powerful direction for the band.

Unsurprisingly, Siouxsie’s voice serves as the focal point on Anima Animus, with her smoky tenor weaving a complex mix of desolation, hope and outright soul. Overdubbing harmonies and complex vocal harmonies, Siouxsie’s voice serves both as a vehicle for standard lyrical delivery and also as a powerful instrument cranking out background melodies. From the throbbing background wails on "Turn It On" to the haunting delivery of "Exterminating Angel," Siouxsie’s flair for vocal dramatics gives Anima Animus the perfect counterpoint to its heavy percussion.

Cromosoma 3 se formó en Barcelona en el año 2002 , influenciados por grupos como Damned , B52 , Bauhaus , Cramps , Meteors , Man or astroman y por películas de terror de serie B , grandes clásicos de la Universal, Hammer ,etc, Después de 4 meses de ensayo se grabó una canción llamada El retrato (surf oscuro entre Cramps y Meteors) al mes el bateria (Carlo) dejo la banda; sustituyéndolo por (Marcel) grabaron 2 canciones nuevas ,una llamada Living in trash (entre Ghoultown ,Damned y Misfits) y otra Nuestro amor (un homenaje al after punk iberico tipo Parálisis Permanente y Desechables) las colgaron en internet y empezaron a tocar por todo el estado... Imaginaros, un grupo formado por un guitarrista(Pau) con una mascara de la mosca (de la película interpretada por el maravilloso Vicent Price) ,el bajista (Marc) pintado como el payaso de IT ,el bateria (Marcel) vestido de monje y el cantante (Gerardo) disfrazado de vampiro ; hacian versiones de Smiths , Misfits , Trashmen , Sonics , etc ... ¡Tras siglos de ominoso letargo a llegado el momento de su terrible despertar…….!

28 de abril del 2002. Animal canníbal lleva 5 largos años en su local de ensayo cósmico afincado en la ciudad Matutanox del planeta cebolla cuadrada. Allí se vela por la seguridad e integridad del universo.

Todo parece ir bien por el espacio exterior, pero animal canníbal no sabe que una terrible amenaza apunta hacia el planeta tierra, el peligroso super-villano capitán coraje pretende llevar acabo un malévolo plan injertando tubérculos enmohecido en seres humanos, de esta forma capitán coraje conseguirá convertir a todos los terrícolas en preciosas plantas de interior, y así tomar posesión de la tierra.

Un desdichado descubrimiento que obliga a animal caníbal a teletrasportarse al planeta tierra para luchar contra este mal. Cuando toda la población terrícola contaminada haya sido reducida a pulpa y el super-villano capitán coraje sea aniquilado, animal caníbal descansara y volverá otra vez su planeta. Hasta entonces animal caníbal seguirá luchando.

Aquí os traigo la discografía de Eyaculación Post-Mortem, esta es una buena banda de horror de Barcelona, tienen algo especial, algunas de sus letras realmente llegan a ponerte la piel de gallina y erizarte los pelos de la nuca.

Eyaculación Post Mortem nace en Sabadell con la idea inicial de J.Oscura Nájera de crear un proyecto musical after punk…después de diferentes intentos, aliens y bandas, crean “La Oscura hermandad”; un grupo de gentes dedicadas a la música, el cine, y al arte en general visto de una perspectiva naturalmente terrorífica, amantes del cine expresionista es de ahí de donde nace “Eyaculación Post Mortem”…bajo, secuencias, teclados y guitarra son tan solo la parte de arriba de una base electro. Mejor dicho; elektro.

Una banda que crea para bailar, para mover el esqueleto, donde es imposible mantenerte sereno…Techno, EBM, Elektroskuro! After Punk!!!…Guitarras que abarcan desde metal, hasta el down más tremendo. Sátira de un mundo podrido, sátira de una realidad más enferma que cualquier suposición…siendo definitiva en su música la unión entre el cine y el sonido, secuencias divertidas de películas o psicofonías, el blanco y negro del expresionismo hecho música…

Auto-producen un material en CD genial desde todos los puntos de vista; arte una vez más, expresionista, unas portadas alucinantes y todos y cada uno de sus temas absolutamente geniales. Desde “La Muerte de Bastian” hasta “Experimento EPM”. Son ya los dos discos de ésta banda de Sabadell: “De los muertos y sus costumbres” (2002) y “La Oscura Ceremonia” (2003). Produce: J.Oscura Nájera y La Oscura Ceremonia.


Eyaculación, Oscura y la productora Polémicka Films (Bcn) acaban de rodar un cortometraje de título “Las flores de la Zona Muerta” que ha sido presentado en la FNAC de Barcelona (donde tuvieron que realizar dos pases del mismo); basado en el expresionismo alemán de los años 20; corto que a su vez será presentado en Valencia, junto a otros tres de Polémicka Films en la pantalla gigante de la sala Ku. Terror en b/n y sonidos del mal!
