Twist by Tveit & Tornøe

One of my favorite lamp producers, Norwegian Northern Lighting, are launching this cool new lamp at the Stockholm Furniture Fair next week. Twist is designed by Tveit & Tornøe.

I have written about these talented designers before. Their office is in fact just a couple of floors above mine here at Verftet. Did you know they are the brains behind these famous Dots by Muuto?

architect meets cognac

I have already told you a lot about Braastad and their new organic cognac. Today I got a press release from another cognac house, Martell, telling me about their collaboration with French architect Jean Nouvel. So far I have only seen one example of his work "live"; Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris which is pretty cool. I think this cognac colored lamp is pretty cool too. What do you think?

As a gift for my very belated 30th birthday celebration my wonderful friends gave me the Seed lamp. It has been on my wishlist ever since I wrote about it more than two years ago. I'm very happy with it! So is Sølve. I've ordered another one for his side of the bed.
