This is my FOTD during my lola's burial. I decided to look fresh because the end is the mark of a new beginning.

FOTD: HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Hubby and I had our first- ever Halloween dinner. Since we have no costumes at home, I just decided to wear an unusual shade of lipstick for Halloween.

Here's moi wearing MAC Venomous Villains lipstick in Violetta from the The Evil Queen collection.

This lipstick looked a bit too much in the tube. The color looks intense, and a bit scary to wear. But heck, it's halloween! :p

Surprisingly, this lipstick is very wearable. No reason to fear Violetta anymore! :)

The shade is best worn with clothes in the the ff. shades: pale pinks, grays, pale peaches, lavenders, and whites.

NEW HAIR- DO+FOTD

Hello guys! After a long time, here's another FOTD post.

I'm so excited with the despedida dinner of hubby's big sister. Well, not because she's leaving, but because I'm going to eat in a buffet. Oh how I love buffets!

And I'm also excited to use my lovely hot pink dress! :)

Anyway, I had a haircut. I just realized that my hair was already too long, and it's costing me too much shampoo. And it looks already dry and unhealthy.

I trimmed 6- 7 inches of hair off of my head. And for a change, I had my hair layered. I hope you can see the uneven ends on my fringe. :)

I like my new hair do. My head feels light, my hair looks healthier, and the layered cuts frame my face well. :)

Here's the FOTD. I don't normally wear eyeshadows. Well, I DON'T really wear eyeshadows on a daily basis. But for a change, I did. :)

My dress's color is fuschia. And I used a chocolate brown e/s and a pale peach shimmery eyeshadow to highlight my eyes, whilst still looking natural.

To compliment the pink color of my outfit, I dabbed a bit of a cool pink blush to counter the hot pink color of my dress. The brown blush, which I used for contouring, gave my face a warm glow. It also helped tame the pink- ness of the blush.

I just chose and MLBB shade of lipstick so that my overall make- up look will just look fresh and natural.

FOTD: PRET-A-PAPIER LOOK, ALA LADY MARIAN

This is just a quick look using my Pret-A-Papier stuff.

I called it Ala Lady Marian 'cos of the curled section of my hair. And I don't know why I callled it as such. :p FYI, Lady Marian is Robin Hood's leading lady, played by my all- time favorite actress, Cate Blanchett.

Curl is courtesy of my Panasonic Salon Hairstylist curling iron.

EYES:

Tissueweight eyeshadow (lid wash)
Memorabilia Eyeshadow (creases)
Maybelline Unstoppable brow liner (black)
MAC Chromagraphic Pencil
Max Factor False Lash effect mascara

CHEEKS:

MAC Instant Chic Blush

LIPS:

MAC Dressmaker, Dressmaker lipstick

Dang that lip bruise!

Closer look at the rather messy EOTD.

And here's the Lady Marian part. Haha. :p

I like the combination of the two eyeshadows because the two gave me a not-so-dramatic eye make- up look, whilst still giving it definition. Memorabilia and Tissueweight are great shades for girls who wear eyeshadows on a daily basis!

And for office gals out there, the shades of Pret-A-Papier are definitely office- friendly. It gives you a break from dull browns and blacks without going overboard with colors.

Reviews for the eyeshadows are still to come! :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR LADIES!+ HAPPY NEW YEAR OUTFIT AND FOTD

'Tis better late than never so happy new year guys!

I went home right after picking up some groceries with mom in S&R, The Fort, Taguig. I also cooked the food for our media noche. It's just a fun night with pica- pica foods. Sorry, didn't get to take pictures because my digital camera was misplaced last night. And know where I found it? Under my beagle's doggie bed. I don't know why it friggin' got there but at least the beagle didn't chew on it!

So here's a wrap up of what we had for our Media Noche. Take note, all are cooked by moi except for the Pansit:

GRILLED STEAK (THINLY SLICED, MARINATED IN GARLIC, PEPPER, THYME, OLIVE OIL AND ONIONS)
MUSHROOM SAUCE (FOR THE STEAK)
SNYDER FARM WHITE CORN CHIPS
CHEESE DIP (THEY LIKED THIS! MY SPECIALTY)
PANSIT BIHON
TASTY DUMPLINGS KUTCHAY DUMPLINGS
PUREFOODS FIESTA HAM
QUESO DE BOLA
RED WINE (MERLOT)
GOOD OL' COCA- COLA
STEAMED CORN (SIMMERED IN WATER WITH BUTTER AND SALT AND DRAINED AFTER COOKING)

I used my Bella Il Fiore Tropique palette eyeshadows to achieve this look. I love the bronze- golden color that I used on my arch to soften the dark brown color!

Here's my eye opened.

Happy new year dearies! May your 2010 starts with a BANG! :)

SCENT:

GLOW BY J.LO

**This is the blue dress I bought in SM. It's such a pretty dress! :) Thanks for Caby's post because I didn't know that the lucky color of the year is blue. Good thing blue is my fave color, so hello good luck! :)

*Nya. I lit a Kwitis and instead of it going up, it curved and went straight. Dayum, good thing it went straight to a wall and exploded against it. Lesson of the year, DO NOT BUY KWITIS ROCKETS ON THIN AND CURVED BAMBOO STICKS.

FOTD: CHANNELING KARDASHIAN

Okay, I've been really planning to do this look but I really don't have the time to do so. But since I've nothing to do last night and I wasn't sleepy yet, I decided to finally recreate Kim Kardashian's lovely look, as popularized by Troy Jensen.

Troy Jensen called this THE NAUGHTY LOOK.

So below are amateur pictures. I did not line my eyes so as to make the look more wearable. But if you opt for more definition, create a winged line using a liquid eyeliner on your upper lash line, plus line your waterline all the way to the tear duct to create a more chiseled eye make up.

STUFF USED TO CREATE THE LOOK:

LAURE MERCIER MINERAL PRESSED POWDER (NATURAL BEIGE)
NARS POWDER BLUSH (MADLY)
LAURA MERCIER MATTE EYESHADOW (NOIR)
NARS LIPSTICK (SCHIAP)---> ACTUAL LIPSTICK OF KIM KARDASHIAN
STILA EYESHADOW (KITTEN)
MAYBELLINE FALSE LASHES EFFECT MASCARA (BLACK)
EVER BILENA PENCIL EYELINER (BLACK)
KRYOLAN EYELASH ADHESIVE
A PAIR OF FALSIES

And yes, This is not done by Troy Jensen but this is my take on how to make this look more wearable. :)
Hahaha. Trying to imitate her pose. :p
Haha. What a face.

Me likey this shot. :)

:)

Is it just me, or I really look malnourished here? haha. :p

Here's the look with MAC Dazzleglass in Sugarrimmed. :)

Hello darlings. :)

THAT'S IT FOR TODAY! :)
