Oh, what a long and exhausting week this has been. I'm currently dreaming of taking a vacation, perhaps sailing around (beaches and oceans have always brought me peace.) Sailor suits and at-sea picnics anyone?

I have a big spot in my heart for old Polaroid cameras that use peel-apart film. Not only is it wonderful that you can still buy 100 film, but the whole look, smell, experience of using the cameras is something that cannot be replicated. I think I might just have to run down here today for some film to use with my Land Camera. A photo adventure is in the near future.

Currently dreaming of: a short escape. Packing up the car or hopping on a train to the coast or countryside. Bringing nothing but a few loose dresses, a stack of books, and a couple of film cameras. Spending time in a bed and lying on grass or sand. I'm ready for a little break and a couple days of discovery.
