Girl molested over headscarf
The sixteen-year-old girl who was beaten up at school last Tuesday was molested because she wasn’t wearing a headscarf. That is what the head of Scala College high school told to the AD [Dutch newspaper, Algemeen Dagblad]
The girl from the Dutch city of Alphen was attacked by a group of girls, all wearing headscarves themselves. The cause of the molestation was a message spread through social media by the victim.
The teenager suffered a concussion and injuries to her lip. The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon at Scala College, located on Diamantstraat. The high school student had been harassed by her fellow students. The girl who hit the victim will be suspended by the school, the director of the school board told the AD.
