Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/9/2011President Hosni Mubarak has rejected an offer to travel to Germany for medical treatment. The plan by the EU and the USA to shuffle him out of the way to Europe seems to have failed, and he will remain in Egypt.

In other news, a black state senator in South Carolina said during a committee hearing that cracking down on illegal immigration would be bad for the state, since the illegal immigrants work harder than his “brothers” and his “blue-eyed brothers”.
