British Prime Minister David Cameron said that Multiculturalism in the UK has failed, and spoke out about the need for British Muslims to integrate fully in society so that extremism is reduced. This caused an angry response from Muslim groups, even within his own party. Some critics said he has become just like the EDL.In other news, the Egyptian military and the Obama administration have come to an agreement: the leader of the “transitional” government in Egypt will be Omar Suleiman, the head of Egyptian intelligence. Strangely enough, despite all the talk about democracy, this authoritarian choice is almost certainly the same that President Bush would have made, or President Clinton, or virtually any other American president. The administrations come and go, but our thug remains our thug.
