What is this, has something disturbed our sun in the new year? Has some ring of power given us a sign that all is not well with our old friend in the sky? Or is it my mediocre photography that has offended some of the powers that be? And at one of my favourite photo haunts too.No, don't be afraid. The New Year has not turned my head completely. It is just the effect of a circular polarizing filter pointed straight at the sun - for fun.
