It's wrong to steal. It's wrong for people to bring copyrighted and owned art into second life and sell it claiming they are the creators and it is just as wrong for me to take your texture and try to sell it as my own. Artist in any walk of life have the right to charge whatever they want for their product. If you don't like it - walk away.
There has been a rash of texture thieving going around and no I am not talking about you doing what you want with your product that you purchased for your own personal use. After all any artists knows that if they really love their work and don't want it altered they should not sell it (and that is why we should respect the generosity of the artist especially in second life- they are extremely giving). But, what I am talking about are people ripping textures from objects or prims and taking those stolen textures and selling them. It's got to stop. No one will want to create, share, sell, or give anymore. So take a stand and fight for the creators. After all without them this world would be just as mundane as first life.

Scenes from the 'hood
We may be suffering from massive power outages that are affecting the world gold price, our Minister of Mineral and Energy affairs may suggest that in order to save electricity we go to bed early so that we can grow and get cleverer... Our Minister of Health may be of view the African potato can cure AIDs and HIV, our next president may be up on charges of fraud and corruption - and practice unsafe sex with an HIV sufferer, racial tensions may be as bad or worse than ever before, our enonomy may be about to nosedive, crime and violence may be out of control - but hell, so what, it's a beautiful place...

San Leandros Sim
I have to divulge the first time I happened upon this sim was through a freebie notice. Which I never did get, because I got to entranced by the lovely setting off to the left from the central teleportation point. So, while chatting with some new fellow I morphed into a mermaid and planted myself in the lovely little pond and took a couple of pictures until that devilishly beautiful Ofelia distraceted me with stories of her shopping withdrawl blues and we attacked the Prim & Proper sale and spent the day goofing off.

But, today I loged in to the reception of a little note from Helena Compton about her store on the San Leandros sim and a dollarbie bag available there. She sent me a sample and I have to say, thanks! I love that it has a pose and it is a good one. The texture is chic and the product appears well made. So here I find myself hooked like a fish wandering around San Leandros all thanks to the bella Helena grazie. =)
